H\u00e1 40 anos, chegava a marte a miss\u00e3o norte americana Viking-1. Gra\u00e7as ao projeto Viking, os seres humanos puderam ter uma ideia da superf\u00edcie de Marte, al\u00e9m de admirar a vista do c\u00e9u que se mistura entre laranja e s\u00e9pia.
\nSegundo os americanos, Viking foi primeiro projeto a estudar o solo do planeta vermelho, por\u00e9m esta empreitada j\u00e1 havia sido feita pelos sovi\u00e9ticos em 1971, n\u00e3o obstante os equipamentos n\u00e3o funcionaram mais do que 20 segundos.
